Anyone who has been on the internet in the last 10 years knows about all the craziness there is with the RIAA mafia, licensing rights, music piracy, how Apple has influenced digital music downloads, etc. Well recently both Google and Amazon beat Apple to the punch with the latest online music trend, “The Music Cloud”. Which all that is is a place on the internet to store your tunes so you can listen to them on any internet enabled device anywhere you like. Which has the big labels and the RIAA freaking out (mostly because of greed).
Typically in the world of software, first to market usually does the best. However in this case, Amazon and Google going live with their cloud music offerings first may have just helped Apple out. TechCrunch has an interesting article about the ordeal.
